DJI Inspire 1 Pro - Lens Comparison

Many people looking at getting into the DJI Inspire 1 Pro wonder what the different lens options that are available will look like. We went out and setup the camera with the most common lens options to show you what each lens will get you. The lenses shown are the:

  • DJI MFT 15mm F1.7 ASPH (Stock DJI Lens)
  • Olympus M.12mm F2.0
  • Olympus M.25mm F1.8
  • Olympus M.45mm F1.8

Some of the lenses had ND filters on for balance so don't look at the color saturation, we are focusing on the width of the field of view and the zoom factor of each lens.

As you can see, different lenses will provide either a wider or narrower field of view. The Olympus 12mm is great for wider, landscape shots, the DJI 15mm and Olympus 25mm are great general use lenses with the 25mm being more like what the human eye will see, and the 45mm can be great for getting closeup shots while maintaining a further distance.

Update: A reader asked to see how the different focal lengths look at altitude. All of the following shots were taken at 300' AGL for comparison purposes.
