Gunnar Downey Recruited as General Manager
Denver, CO – September 1, 2022 – Multicopter Warehouse, Inc is pleased to announce that Mr. Gunnar Downey recently joined Multicopter Warehouse as the new General Manager. While Gunnar is based in our Dallas, TX office and will be responsible for all sales, operations and marketing efforts for Multicopter Warehouse across the US. Our Denver based team will report to him as well.
He brings a unique perspective to the Multicopter Warehouse Team with years of experience in various industries. Over the years he has worked for both small and large companies in the construction, energy and transportation industries. Most recently, Gunnar spent three years as a Construction Technology Specialist for GeoShack, Inc – covering Dallas and the Northeast Texas markets.
Deciding it was time for a career change, Gunnar recently moved to Multicopter Warehouse. “I think there is a huge opportunity for drones in construction, survey and mapping as well as public safety and inspection” said Downey, adding “it’s great to be a part of Multicopter Warehouse and continue to lead the organization to even higher levels. I look forward to growing the business and expanding its presence”
Gunnar was born and raised in Houston, TX. He was an avid soccer player in high school and received a soccer scholarship to Ottawa University in Ottawa, KS. After his freshman year, he transferred to the University of North Texas in Denton, TX where he met his wife. He says his hobby is his work, but when he does break away, in his spare time, he enjoys hunting and fishing as well as doing home improvement projects on his new home.
